This rather different piece of art work (is it competition to the Mall’s Balls?) is a colourful addition in one of Adelaide’s narrowest roads. The inflatable ball is wedged between Enyesbury College and Faraway House in Trades Hall Lane.

The colourful triangles on the ball continue onto the wall below where there are also some more conventional pieces depicting local Adelaide scenes. In the picture below you may be able to decipher the Three Rivers Fountain in Victoria Square and the Mall’s Balls in Rundle Mall.

The piece is by local artist Lucy Bonin from Enyesbury College and has been here since December 2014. A much less colourful ball occupied the position for a year of so before this one.

Address: Trade Hall Lane
Directions: Short street running between Franklin Street and Groote Street
